BASICS AND CONDITIONING TRAINING

These sessions are held on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday of each week from 5.00pm to 6.20pm and are open to ALL olympic apparatus gymnasts irrespective of age and experience.

COMPETITIVE APPARATUS TRAINING

Competitive squad gymnasts train from one to three sessions during the week for between 2 and 4 hours at a time according to their ability level. Selection is by invitation of the Head Coach following assessments that are made from time to time. Competitive groups train with the aim of competing at their appropriate level in set work and voluntary competitions.

SUNDAY TRAINING

Our Floor & Vault competitive classes are run on Sundays. The times are 10.30-11.45, 11.45–1.00 and 1.00-2.15.

Additional training time is offered to 4 piece gymnasts on Sundays by invitation only and is generally used for specific training needs such as competition routines practice.

TERMS AND HOLIDAYS

There are three gymnastic terms each year:

Mid August to Mid December (18 weeks), January to March (13 weeks) and April to June (12 Weeks)

Additional training is available during the Winter (2 weeks) and Summer (6 weeks) holidays  by invitation. The annual calendar of term dates, club events and competition dates are displayed on the notice board.

PAYMENT OF FEES

Payment of all fees must be made in accordance with the dates stated on the fee notices issued and can be paid by Cheque, Cash or Internet Banking.

By attending the start of any term the member undertakes to pay for the whole of that term even although they may decide to terminate their membership before the end of that term.

Late or non payment may result in access to training sessions being denied.

COMPETITION ENTRY

When invited by the Club to enter a competition or squad trial, a gymnast will be given an entry form which MUST be replied to by the date stated. This will ensure that the Club includes you for entry before the closing date.

MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION

Applications for Club Membership should be directed to the Head Coach by email to info@lasswadegymnastics.co.uk.

Please ensure you give the following details: Name, Date of Birth, Contact Number, Previous Gymnastic Experience and Current/Previous Club if applicable.

Gymnasts must complete an assessment before Membership will be granted.
